Enjoy the tranquillity, the grandeur, and the beauty of Highland Perthshire from the comfort of a traditional stone building, which is listed as being of architectural interest. The building has been specifically modernised with self-catering in mind.
Located in the heart of Scotland in the farming community of the Breadalbane Environmentally Sensitive Area, there is lots to do and see. You can go hill walking, bird watching, fishing, sailing, horse riding or play a round or two of golf at a host of local courses.
For the less active, because of its central location, you can tour along many pre-arranged trails, visit many famous castles, hostelries and distilleries. Or you can stay here and watch the many wild birds, flowers and animals for which Scotland is so famous; not to mention the lambs and calves gambolling in the fields.
In Spring the countryside is lush and green and full of delicate promise, in summer the call of the grouse in the purple heather and in the autumn the colours on the trees are second to none. In winter the ski resorts are not so very far away, when the weather permits. At all times you are assured of a warm welcome.
The accommodation: Linen is provided. Logs provided for the open fires in four of the houses. Dogs are welcome. We have six houses; three sleep up to 4 persons, two sleep up to 6, and one sleeps up to 8 persons. Two boats are available for hire on the Loch. Scottish Tourist Board: 3 Star. |
