 There are two ways to get here: Either by the car ferry from Gourock to Dunoon on the Cowal Peninsula and then up the Holy Loch and Loch Eck for six miles to reach Loch Eck Cottage in the Argyll Forest Park. Or else drive up Loch Lomondside and over Rest and be Thankful and down Loch Fyne, a drive as picturesque as it sounds. 100 yards from the loch, with lovely views across the water to the hills beyond, Loch Eck Cottage is deceptively spacious and very comfortably furnished, standing in its own enclosed garden (furniture, BBQ). 
There are a couple of good pub/restaurants within a 4 mile radius. Visit, too, the Benmore Botanical Gardens, just 3 miles down the road, and stroll up Puck's Glen, a truly magical experience of woodland and waterfall. The cottage is ideally situated for exploring the Mull of Kintyre or heading north to Oban and beyond.
Facilities Heating is by oil-CH and open-fires. Bed-linen and towels are INCLUDED. One pet is accepted but must be on a lead within the Estate. Smoking is not allowed within the house.
