Lochdean Cottage is a recently renovated traditional Scottish two bedroomed self-catering holiday cottage in Lochranza on the beautiful island of Arran. Our family owned cottage is ideal for a tranquil holiday on this peaceful island. Lochdean Cottage was built in the early 1920s and was completely renovated to a very high modern standard during 2007-2009.

The cottage is equally suitable for those seeking a romantic break away or a family looking for an active holiday.
The cottage is situated at the end of a short private track, accessed from the main road.
The location is peaceful and offers outstanding views to the surrounding mountains and Lochranza Bay.
Local wildlife includes red squirrels, red deer, eagles, swans, ducks, sheep and even a peacock!
The moors and hills are accessed directly to the rear of the cottage.

Accommodation

Broadband and telephone connectivity allows you to keep in touch with the outside world, if you need to.
Heating comprises a multi fuel stove in the kitchen, and electric storage and panel heaters. The stove will easily heat the entire cottage - fabulous after a long day in the great outdoors!!
The cottage has been very extensively refurbished and modernised throughout 2008 and 2009 and now meets the demands of modern life.
