In the glorious Llanthony Valley, one mile from the famous Llanthony Priory, Llwyn-on Barn and Stable offers a luxurious and peaceful place to stay. Romantically situated on the side of the Hatterell hill, it has spectacular views. - The accommodation is beautifully converted from the barn and stable opposite an ancient Welsh Longhouse.
- The whole farm is part of Tir Gofl Countryside Management scheme, and is a haven for wildlife.
- The Llanthony Valley has attracted poets, artists, and writers for hundreds of years. People are still drawn to its unique beauty, and it will not disappoint.
Accommodation The barn has been sympathetically converted, drawing on traditional Welsh architectural features. Local oak has been used. Large glass doors let in natural light, with unparalled views up the Llanthony Valley. Traditional materials give this Barn and Stable a wonderful feel.
 
In the main barn: - A large sitting room and dining area is open to the ceiling, giving a feeling of peace and space.
- There are oak floorboards, under-floor heating, with beautiful Turkish killims.
- Radio/CD player provided.
- Large dining table.
- The kitchen is open to the main sitting and dining area. Gas hob, electric oven, fridge, with Welsh dresser.
- The Galleried bedroom is accessed through a stone staircase. Double bed. Local oak boards with Turkish killims.
- Luxury shower room with WHB, WC, SP downstairs.
 The Stable Bedroom has been converted, retaining its character: - It has a romantic antique brass four-poster king-sized bed, oak floorboards.
- En-suite luxury shower room with WHB, WC, SP.
- Bed linen (white cotton sheets and duvets), and bath towels are provided.
A freezer and washing machine for guests use in stone annex attached to barn. BBQ and garden furniture.
Guests are welcome to walk and explore Llwyn-on woodland and fields; the fields by the river are a perfect place to picnic.
