 Little Till Cottage is in a tranquil and beautiful place in a unique setting next to the river Till which is a clear chalk stream in an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty and SSSI. About 1.5 to 2 hours from London, it is only three miles from Stonehenge. Salisbury is nine miles away while the New Forest starts about 10 miles after Salisbury. There is a village shop within walking distance (about a mile). - There are many beautiful old villages in this part of Wiltshire and around Salisbury Plain, and lots of pubs offering good food.
- There places to see within easy reach by car such as Bath, Wilton House, Stourhead Gardens, Longleat, Shaftesbury and Marlborough, Yeovilton Naval air station and museum, The Army Air Corp Historic Flight (museum) at Middle Wallop, Golf courses, car museums, Cheddar Gorge and much more!
Little Till Cottage is a detached building which has recently been fully refurbished to a high standard: - The front door leads to the ground floor fitted kitchen/dining room with a modern oven and hob, washing machine, microwave and all of the cutlery, pots and pans and china you will need. A glazed door from the kitchen leads to a small private garden with its dining area overlooking a private garden, beside the river Till.
- A spiral staircase from the kitchen leads to the first floor sitting room with its TV and DVD-CD players, and small library of books and films and CD's.
- A door from the sitting room leads to a bedroom with luxury 6ft super-king luxury bed - or if you prefer - twin three foot beds.
- At the other end of the sitting room a door leads to an ante room with dressing table and on to the shower room with its washbasin and loo.
- The first floor is carpeted throughout.
- It is comfortable, clean and charming.
Little Till Cottage is lovely at any time of the year for a short break or for a longer holiday.
