 Little Garth is a Grade II Listed cottage, built in about 1650, and is much loved and regularly used by the family. It is built from Devon cob and has a thatched roof. The village of Dolton is very quiet and offers convenient pubs serving local food, Shop with Post Office, Butchers, Antique Shop, Electrical shop. There are several excellent walks from the village, including part of the Tarka Trail.

Accommodation  
  • The entrance hall features a beamed ceiling and inglenook fireplace. Stairs lead off this room to two bedrooms and a bathroom and toilet.
  • The sitting room is unusual in that it is single storied and was once a school room. It was added in the 19th Century and now provides a large, comfortable sitting room with a log burner and a door to the garden.
  • The kitchen is fully functional, boasting an oil-fired Rayburn which provides hot water, central heating and cooking. There is also an electric oven and hob, should you prefer. The room is very attractive with oak beams and provides seating for six people. There is an electric kettle, toaster, microwave, small refrigerator and radio.
  • Off the kitchen is a small utility area with a small freezer and a second refrigerator.
  • Little Garth sleeps six adults. There are two double rooms, and one twin room. The twin room is downstairs, and the two double rooms are upstairs. One of the rooms has a king size bed.
  • There is a very attractive bathroom with bath and Mira shower over, wc and hand basin.

  • Lockable shed, ideal for bicycles etc.
  • Ironing board, iron, vacuum cleaner.
  • Bedding and towels are provided.
  • Hairdryer.
  • All cleaning materials provided.
  • TV, DVD, video recorder and mini music centre.
  • Instructions for household appliances are in the dresser drawer.

Outside  
  • There is a very attractive garden and off road parking for up to 2 vehicles. There is also safe on-road parking.
  • There is a small courtyard to the rear of the cottage leading to a room with washing machine, dryer and toilet.
  • Garden table and chairs.
