This is one of the best areas to stay, being beautiful and unspoilt,and close to many attractions.
Our accommodation is ideal for families sharing costs.
The grounds allow for fun and games and exploring. The playground quality swing is great fun for adults too.
Little Barn sleeps five plus a baby in the carry cot.
Sometimes could suit 2 couples only.
At other times 2 couples each with a small child or baby.
In these difficult financial times, it is still possible to have a holiday in one of the prettiest cottages in an idyllic setting.

4th to 11th June;
Little Barn is the best self catering accommodation we have stayed in. It`s well equipped and very clean.It is the only place we have stayed in that didn`t need cleaning as soon as we`d arrived.We have had a wonderful week. Many thanks to Carole and Alan for the lovely warm welcome.

We have finally struck gold with self catering accommdation and are amazed at how homely and welcoming Little Barn is....the full size swing in the field, swing-ball and box of outdoor games were also most welcome...rolltop bath a dream...Dolphin inn is a great local, super food and welcomes children..local shop very well stocked and worth a good mooch..we have already decided we will come back, we have enjoyed our stay so much.

Alex and I thought the bedroom was lovely and cosy and we loved the swing and runing around the big field. We also liked the Rare breeds farm at Totnes.

We have had a lovely hot sunny week here at Little Barn.We loved South Milton sands and Bigbury. We liked Dartmouth Castle,the ferry ride and loved Salcombe. We also enjoyed walking to the Dolphin Inn and its` good food. Thankyou Carole for showing us how your beautiful glasswork is constructed. We really don`t want to leave we have had such a brilliant week.

Thankyou for a lovely week at the charming and well- equipped Little Barn. We appreciated your warm welcome and tasty goodies! Highlights for us were the walk to the Erme estuary from Kingston, plus walks at Burgh Island and Slapton ley. We enjoyed lovely meals at the Dolphin, The Queens at Slapton, the Ship at Ugborough and Rumours Totnes.

My parents rented the cottage, I only stayed one night but it was the best nights sleep I`ve had for a while. What an amazingly peaceful place. We will be back.

Another great week with lovely weather. Enjoyed the steam train at Buckfastleigh, boat trip from the Hoe and the Aquarium. Crabbing at Wonwell was great fun and food at Journeys end was really good. Lovely to see you both again, hope to see you with our new addition.

Previous years
Thankyou for such a delightful place to stay, the accommodation is ideal, as well as the surrounding countryside. We are going back to London relaxed and refreshed and will be back again soon. Mr and Mrs C.

Little Barn exceeded our expectations, so much to do in such a small radius, Hannah enjoyed playing in the big field.
We have had a super relaxing week, the roll top bath was blissful. The beaches and coves get the thumbs up too.

It is perfect here whatever your interests. There are countless activities for all no matter how old or young.
If you wish to stay in a special place that offers tranquillity and peace, have the pleasure of watching the world go by at a relaxing pace, or close by find all the advantages of the unspoilt beaches, countryside pubs of which there are many and serve delicious and locally sourced food; picturesque villages and lovely local towns where contrary to popular belief alot goes on, please do give us a ring.
If you stay in a tranquil setting you can always seek out the busier places for entertainment, but if you stay in a noisy place you can`t get the tranquillity on demand.
You can be sure of a warm welcome if you stay at Little Barn.
We always took self catering holidays when our children were small,and we wish we could have found somewhere like Little Barn then.
