 Consistently awarded 3 stars by VisitScotland for 12 years, 14 Kirivick is a comfortably refurbished and highly commended family-owned cottage situated in the peaceful district of Carloway on the west coast of the Isle of Lewis. - 14 Kirivick is a spacious and very comfortable base for a family holiday or for a group of friends looking for peace, quiet, relaxation and some of the most stunning scenery in the Western Isles. Its location makes it ideal for exploring the island and also the neighbouring Isle of Harris.
 - The broch at Dun Carloway is within easy walking distance, while the Callanish Stones and the blackhouse village at Garenin are 4 and 2 miles away respectively.
- There is good fishing on numerous lochs and seafishing is popular with both locals and visitors.
- Many visitors and locals spend time in the summer evenings watching the shoals of salmon leaping and splashing in the bay.
Accommodation comprises: Kitchen, sitting room with open fire, bathroom with shower, single bedroom, twin bedroom and double bedroom. There are gardens to the front and rear of the cottage and outdoor seating is provided. Ample parking is available. Location: - Close by (within 2 miles) are the small, secluded sandy beaches of Dalbeg and Dalmore where it is common for visitors to find themselves the only people on the beach. There are countless other unspoilt, often deserted beaches, offering mile upon mile of stunning views and walks.
- Gaelic is extensively spoken in the district and is used as a medium of instruction at the local primary school.
- Should you wish to eat out, the nearby Doune Braes Hotel is within walking distance. There is also a wide variety of very good restaurants in Stornoway.
- Lewis is within convenient reach of mainland Scotland. There are air links from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Inverness and Aberdeen and sea links from Ullapool, Skye and North Uist.
