Lessudden Cottage backs onto the end of historic Lessudden House, which lies within its own 20 or so acres at the East end of St Boswells village, at the heart of the Scottish Borders. It is a comfortable and well appointed cottage, in easy walking distance of the River Tweed, and enjoying a spectacular view of the Eildon Hills, looking over the Tweed.

There are lots of sights to be seen and things to do in the area, including fishing, shooting, walking, riding, and golf. There are a large number of historic and highly interesting buildings which can be seen, as well as nearby "Scott's View"; Sir Walter Scott's uncle and aunt lived at Lessudden House, and Sir Walter often visited. The village of St Boswells has a variety of useful shops.

Accommodation consists of:
  • Ground floor: spacious sitting room with dining area at one end, and door direct to garden. TV and log-burning fire.
  • Kitchen with electric cooker, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, and door from kitchen through conservatory to garden.
  • Bathroom with bath, shower, basin and loo.
  • Upstairs: master double bedroom and another (twin) bedroom. Both bedrooms have windows looking onto garden.
  • Central heating throughout.
