Our charming cottage is converted within the former coach house of our 16 century Guernsey farm house. The cottage has been available for two seasons with very positive feed back from our guests. The cottage was recently refurbished (2006) in a sympathetic style, with wood floors, timber panel in the kitchen and bathroom and stylish, shabby chic furniture.  

• Les Pres Cottage is situated in a secluded and rural spot down a quiet, quaint lane.
• Les Pres Cottage is walking distance to the local amenities of St Pierre du Bois (otherwise know as St Peter's), including grocery store, post office, church and local pub.
• The nearest beach is L'Eree, closely followed by Portelet. These are is approximately 20-25 minutes walk can be reach through pretty back lanes.
• Cliff walks along the West coast are also approximately 20 minutes walk.
• There are also a number of very good restaurants and cafes also within walking distance.

Accommodation
All the rooms are of a good size and well proportioned and have an abundance of natural light (unusual for Guernsey cottages). All the rooms have either views of gardens and fields or both.  

• The accommodation consists of a good size living room with limed oak floor, working fireplace, leather and linen sofa and chairs.
• Also on the ground floor is a large kitchen/dinning room of traditional cottage style appearance with new appliances (2006), including washing machine, dryer, microwave, fridge and oven with ceramic hob.
• The open threat stairs lead to the 1st floor which has white painted floor boards and cosy white rugs.
• The main bedroom is a good size with 1 double bed, and has lovely views on both sides of the house.
• The other bedroom has two single beds and lovely views over the garden of the main house.
• The bathroom has original bath with hand shower, toilet and sink and has timber panelling painted in french grey.
• The cottage has central heating and the open log fire in the living room can also be used by guests when required out of summer season.

Outside  

• The cottage has its own exclusive patio area with seating. In front of the patio is a lawn.
• Parking is approximately 10 meters from the from door along a gravel drive.
• We have 8 acres of surrounding fields which we welcome the guests to roam if they wish. We also have a picnic area besides a stream which guests can use as they wish.

Les Pres Cottage is 5 minutes drive from the airport and 20 minutes to St Peter Port.

The cottage has wireless broadband for the guest email/internet use (PC/laptops not supplied).

We welcome families with children and can provide various infant and toddler items such as cots, babyseats and toys.
