 Beginning April 2008 at Ledstone Farmhouse we are able to offer comfort and an atmosphere of contented relaxation for between four and nine people in the peaceful and pretty surroundings of a little hamlet of 15 houses two miles from Kingsbridge and where our farm has been an agricultural holding for many centuries.
THE ACCOMMODATION comprises: Large conservatory entrance, kitchen, dining room, sitting room and upstairs five bedrooms (two with ensuite shower rooms), large bathroom and another shower room. Electricity and central heating are included in our charges. We do not welcome pets or smokers, preferring to cater for the nons. There is a cooker, microwave, toaster, digital colour T.V. and V.C.R., radio, hair dryers, fridge, freezer, dish washer, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and board, telephone, vacuum cleaner, duvets and covers*, linen and all towels, flannels, soaps, wash detergents, tea towels, dishcloths. *(It is useful to know in advance if guests much prefer sheets and blankets to duvets, also if either set of twin beds are to be made up as doubles). There is an area for out of doors eating or sitting, a private garden, garden furniture and ample parking. LOCATION WHERE IS IT? Ledstone is situated in the centre of the South Hams of southernmost Devon. Our nearest shops, supermarkets and churches are at Kingsbridge (just under two miles) and there are many pretty villages with excellent pubs within 4 miles. Drives to Exeter, Plymouth, Torquay, the wilds of Dartmoor and far into Cornwall make super outings quite apart from our local towns of Kingsbridge, Salcombe, Totnes, Modbury and Dartmouth which each have their own charm and character. We are keen gardeners and for anÝ evening stroll guests are welcome to walk around the gardens or to our pond. For the dedicated walker the South Devon Coast Path is a great attraction as are many lanes and footpaths. The scenery of Devon, the beaches and moors are well known to most people and we have copious literature for those to whom it is not!! Weeks and three or four night breaks available throughout the year.
