Lecale Cottages are located on a 24 acre site in the heart of the Mourne Mountains, 2 miles from Rostrevor village. They vary in size from the luxury of 5 Star houses sleeping 6, to pretty Leckan Beg, which is ideal for a couple. On site there is a hard tennis court, children's playground and a riverside walk.  

• All cottages have microwave, iron, electric cooker and TV (some with video and DVD).
• Bedlinen is provided.
• Oil fired central heating included in price.
• Cots available on request.
• Residents have access to a free laundry room (if there is no washer/dryer in house) and use of free BT local calls at phone box.
• Dogs permitted in some 3 Star cottages.

Typical Cottage and House descriptions:

3 Star Cottage:  

• Open plan living/kitchen and dining area with traditional tiled floor and turf fire.
• Three bedrooms - one double, one twin, one single.
• Bathroom with bath and WC, separate shower room and separate WC.
• This cottage has been adapted so that it has easier access for wheelchairs and prams.
• Sleeps 5.

5 Star Houses:  

• Large living/dinign area, one with wood burning Jotul stove and the other with an open fire, deep comfortable sofas and chairs, and TV, DVD and video.
• The kitchen area is fitted out in light oak with Mourne granite worktops and has every modern convenience including dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave and food processor.
• Each house has three extra spacious bedrooms, all ensuite. Two of the bedrooms have two single beds in each and one bedroom has one double and one single bed.
• Oil fired central heating.
• A pay-as-you-go mobile phone is available.
• Sleeps 6/7.
