Lanarth is situated in the lovely village of Mylor at the head of a creek that runs into the famous natural harbour known as Carrick Roads. The village is in an area designated as one of outstanding beauty. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside and the coast. It is midway between Falmouth with all its maritime history and the bustling cathedral town of Truro. - At nearby Mylor yacht harbour there are numerous watersports and sailing on offer as well as restaurants and a newly opened bistro.
- The famous Pandora Inn, in its stunning waterside location is just over the hill.
- The whole of Cornwall with all its beaches,walking,and sailing is within easy reach.
