 The village of Coldingham nestles between rolling farmland above Coldingham Bay, a sheltered crescent of golden sand on the beautiful Berwickshire coastline. With a fabulous beach and excellent canoeing and surfing, the village also offers an array of local shops, pubs and restaurants. - St. Abbs, a quaint and picturesque fishing village is 3 miles away and has a Nature Reserve renowned for its variety of birds and wealth of marine life, which attracts sub aqua divers the world over. Fishing and diving excursions can be purchased here.
- This area is ideal for exploring The Scottish Borders and Northumberland with their spectacular coastlines and excellent walking, golf, riding, cycling and fishing. There are castles, grand houses, gardens and wonderful beaches all within easy reach, magnificent cliffs and glorious walks- with the great city of Edinburgh only 35 mins by train from Dunbar station.
Lammamuir is a delightful refurbishment of a traditional farm workers cottage. With beautiful expansive views southwards towards the Cheviots and peaceful countryside all around. - The cottage is situated at the end of a tarmac farm track 12 miles north of the historic walled town of Berwick-upon-Tweed.
- The cottage has been lovingly restored, is very well equipped and is a warm and comfortable base from which to explore the endless attractions of this wonderful area.
- The village of Coldingham is 3mls away - there is a footpath directly from the cottage to the village approx 40 mins walk.
