Hillside and Beck are two charming 18th century white fronted cottages in Ambleside. The village is conveniently situated in the centre of the National Park at the head of Lake Windermere - ideal for exploring the whole of the Lake District. The cottages are within easy walking distance of the lake and steamer pier and only a few minutes walk from the centre of the village which has a wide range of shops, pubs and restaurants. Many varied level walks directly from the doorstep.

Each cottage has:

Open plan downstairs.
One double and one twin bedded room.
Newly fitted kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave, TV, DVD, video, and music centre.
Newly fitted bathroom.
Quiet locations.

Hillside being the end one of a row of three cottages in an elevated position, yet only 5 minutes walk to shops etc.

Stunning views from all windows and garden.
Lounge has living flame gas fire.
Newly fitted bathroom with wash basin, bath with shower over and separate toilet.
Cottage has south facing garden with garden furniture, and private parking for one car within garden gates.
Gas central heating and washer/dryer.
Electricity and gas included.
No pets in this cottage.

Beck is a beamed cosy cottage with its own unique charm. It was originally part of a farmhouse and now forms one of a small group of cottages in a quiet residential area only 2 minutes walk to shops.

Lounge has electric flame effect fire.
Newly fitted bathroom with shower, washbasin and wc.
Parking on quiet lane (normally in front).
Gas central heating, gas and electricity included.
One pet by arrangement in this cottage only.
