Lake Bank forms the ground floor of a Victorian country house, set within five acres of grounds at the south western end of Coniston Water with lake views from the house and nearby (350 yards) access to the lakeshore and pier. This photograph is from the garden from Lakebank and shows Peel Island or called "Wildcat Island" from Arthur Ransom's "Swallows and Amazons" books.

  • Fishing access from the pier eg trout, pike, perch, salmon, char etc (NB rod licenses required).

  • Off road cycle routes close from the house.
  • The cottage has been recently refurbished and has the benefit of full central heating carpets in the sitting room and dining area, pine floors, pine doors, exposed beams, a log fire and a newly fitted kitchen in sycamore.
