 A spacious detached period house, in a private, elevated position set in 1/2 acre of garden. The house enjoys extensive views of the Allen valley to the distant Cheviot Hills. Internally, the house is simply but comfortably furnished and decorated with a sympathetic mixture of antique and modern styles. It is well located for touring Northumberland, Teesdale, the Lake District, and Durham. A nine hole golf course is located at nearby Allendale, and pony trekking at Sinderhope. Alston and the High Pennines are 10 miles away. The village centre of Allenheads is 1.5 miles away with a country pub, and a lovely coffee shop/ cafe serving home baked food.
