Kilmahumaig Barns are three self-contained flats in a converted 19th Century farm steading adjacent to the owners' farmhouse. Many original features have been retained in the conversion of this traditional building. It is situated half a mile from the village of Crinan and the Crinan Canal.

Location
Crinan is an excellent base for exploring the riches of Argyll, but one doesn't need to travel far to find plenty of interest.

Forest and woodland walks leave from the back door (Crinan Wood, a Woodland Trust property surrounds Kilmahumaig);
bird watching along the canal towpath;
historic Kilmartin valley with its standing stones and ancient forts;
boat trips to see the famous Gulf of Corryvreckan (please ask for further details);
Lochgilphead (6 mls) is the nearest shopping centre;
Island ferries leave from Oban (35 mls);
there are several local restaurants serving fine sea food.
