 Attractively furnished Stable conversion dating from the 15th Century. Sleeps 2, 1 bedroom. Fitted kitchen with a new electric cooker with ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with a small freezer compartment. Dining table, chairs, comfortable sofa, chairs, colour TV/ video and an original feature fireplace. Bathroom has bath with power shower over, handbasin and toilet. Spacious bedroom with attractive furnishings; bed linen and towels provided. Electricity, storage heaters and an electric fire all inclusive. Best mobile reception is O2, house phone available for emergencies. Regrettably, no children or pets. Welcome Pack provided on arrival. The Loft, which is spacious, light and airy is entered via a short flight of exterior stone steps and used to provide accommodation for the stable lads. The Stable and Coach House date from the 15th century. Part of the garden can be shared with the owners and there is ample parking.
There are good restaurants nearby and two Camra Pubs of the Year. There are lovely walks along the River Usk, famous for its salmon and trout fishing, as well as real challenges for the more serious walker. There are 3 golf courses in a 5 mile radius; the Celtic Manor, venue for the Ryder Cup, is 15 mins away. Also within 5 miles are the market towns of Abergavenny, Usk and Raglan; the area comprises unspoilt, idyllic countryside, yet it is within easy driving distance of major centres. The Severn Bridge is 20 minutes.
