This lovely holiday home was built in 1994 to a traditional design, yet incorporating modern features. It is a beautiful house, with elegant furnishings and very tastefully decorated. The house faces south-east toward Loch Sunart, overlooking the private slipway, with views to the Argyll hills beyond. It is set in idyllic highland countryside.

Argyll offers so much to do and see - and children will love the unspoilt beaches or taking a boat trip to one of the many islands off the coast. Seabirds, whales, dolphins and seals abound - and seeing a dolphin or whale is a magical sight. There are also lots of highland distilleries nearby, as well as amazing gardens and castles. Outdoor pursuits are plentiful: walking, climbing, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, diving, skiing, mountain biking, fishing, shooting, horse-riding or paragliding are all available.

You reach Robingate by taking the Corran Ferry from south of Fort William to Ardgour - this is a 3 minute crossing but so romantic to arrive by sea to a highland holiday cottage. This delightful holiday house is on the edge of the delightful village of Strontian which has a mini-market, post office, pub, bistros and hotels within walking distance. If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing area for a holiday in Scotland then this is the perfect spot.
