This lovely quiet cottage comfortably sleeps 8 people and is a short 5 minute walk across the sand dunes to the magnificent beach at Bamburgh Castle. It is also a 5 minute walk to the village. It is a great base for exploring the beautiful Northumberland Coast and the Scottish Borders. The area also has a number of excellent golf courses and regular trains leave from Alnmouth to both Newcastle and Edinburgh.
The cottage has 4 double bedrooms (two king size double beds and two zip and link twin beds), two bathrooms (both with showers), a living room with an open fire, a large kitchen with a dishwasher, fridge/freezer and double oven and a lovely spacious dining area which overlooks the garden and sits 8 comfortably. There is also a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer and another fridge/freezer. To make things easier for those with babies, the cottage also has a travel cot (no bed linen provided), high chair and a baby bath.
The cottage also has Sky TV in the living room (with movies and sports), a DVD player, ipod docking stations and a digital radio. Bed Linen and towels are provided.
It has private parking for 3 cars and a large enclosed garden to the rear. Well behaved dogs are very welcome.
The Cottage was completely redcorated during January 2012.
