Kent Cottage was fully refurbished in late 2009 and provides excellent accommodation in a quiet location directly opposite the dunes, which form part of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The magnificent sandy beach and the village centre are both only a 5 minute walk from the house. Accommodation is all on one level and is suitable all year round with its efficient central heating, open fire and double glazing. Large, enclosed and private gardens with parking for 3 cars. Wonderful views of Bamburgh Castle.

4 Double bedrooms, two of which have kingsize double beds and two have twin beds that can also be zip and linked to form two superking doubles;
Large kitchen dining area with large table and spacious seating for 8, dishwasher, fridge, double oven, microwave, digital radio / ipod docking station and substantial storage space;
Comfortable living room with three sofas, an open fire, flatscreen tv with Sky (inc movies and sports), DVD player and ipod docking station;
Utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and fridge freezer;
2 bathrooms, one with a shower and bath, the other with a shower. Both have hand basins and wcs;
Large enclosed rear garden with BBQ and garden furniture, as well as two secure outbuildings which are ideal for storing bikes, pushchairs, boogie boards, surfboards and golf clubs;
High chair, travel cot and baby bath;
Games, books and DVDs.

Local Attractions

The sweeping sandy beaches and dramatic Castle (photo on right) make Bamburgh one of Northumberland's most popular yet unspoilt villages. The village itself has excellent facilities including shops, pubs, restaurants and links golf course. There are several other golf courses nearby including Seahouses, Belford, Berwick and Goswick. The Farne Islands, which are a haven for seals and wild birds, Holy Island and a number of other attractions are very close by. Kent Cottage makes an ideal location for exploring these, the rest of Northumberland and the Borders.
