The accommodation, with full central heating, comprises: - A large and comfortable sunny lounge/dining room with colour TV, Freeview, DVD player, Sony stereo music centre and open fire.
- Two bedrooms - a south facing double bedroom and a twin bedroom.
- There are no stairs as all rooms are on the ground floor.
- Bed linen and towels are included in rental - quality duvets and covers with two pillows for each visitor.
- A large bathroom with suite consisting of bath, shower, hand wash basin and WC. There is an electric shaver point and hair drier.
 - The kitchen is south facing and sunny. It is well equipped with a four ring electric hob, full size oven and grill. There is an automatic washing machine, an automatic electric kettle, a two slice toaster and microwave oven. The family size fridge and small freezer are in an adjacent pantry.
Outside: - There is off road parking for 2 cars.
- Keepers Cottage is attached to the owner's home and is set in large grounds.
- The lounge overlooks a small paddock in which sheep are usually grazing, together with lambs in season.
 - A second paddock behind the cottage provides the cottage with a quiet and peaceful location, although only a few yards from Gillamoor's central village green.
- Visitors are most welcome to sit in the orchard - a most relaxing occupation on warm summer evenings. There is a paved area for a portable barbecue, which may be borrowed free on request.
- There are many walks and cycle rides right from the doorstep. Secure cycle storage.
Location - Gillamoor remains an unspoiled working village, through which sheep are regularly herded and farmers seen going about their daily tasks. There are three farms within the village boundary.
- At one end of the village, the picturesque church of St Aidan sits on 'Surprise View', which is a dramatic and panoramic view of the moors.
- Our local inn is only 50 yards away from the cottage door. The 'Royal Oak' is renowned in the area for its cuisine and beers.
- Although perched on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors, Gillamoor has easy access to Kirkbymoorside (2 miles) and Pickering (10 Miles) where there are a variety of food shops and supermarkets for general provisions.
