 Ivybank Cottage is a lovely two bedroom Victorian stone end-terrace (of three) on a lane nestling in a small rural hamlet in the heart of the farming community of the South Hams, four miles South of Dartmoor and four miles from the nearest beach to the South. All the award winning South Hams beaches can be reached easily such as Salcombe (North and South Sands), Bantham and Burgh Island, and Blackpool Sands as well as many other lesser known hidden gems such as the twin harbour villages of Noss Mayo and Newton Ferrers. Just three miles away is the lovely Georgian town of Modbury.
Accommodation  The cottage, which is owner maintained, sleeps two in a large master bedroom with king sized bed and lovely countryside views. There is also a smaller single room. All bed linen is provided, but please bring your own towels. The bathroom has a standard bath with shower over. Downstairs, there is a large well equipped farmhouse style dining kitchen with microwave, new electric oven, automatic washer, etc. The 24' living room has a pair of two seater settees, dining table and chairs, flatscreen TV, DVD player and video with a selection of films, a library of over 300 books, and an open fire as well as the electric heating. (Holidays starting 1st Oct - 1st April first bag of solid fuel free). Electricity is included in rent. There is a lovely enclosed garden (accessed by five steps) with furniture, and off-road parking for one car. Major credit cards accepted.
