 Inveroich has been a much loved family home for the past 56 years and the present owners would like to share it with like minded, caring couples and small parties who would appreciate its charm, character and quality, when they are not in residence.
The property is situated in a unique and prime location at the head of Loch Ness. It enjoys uninterrupted and breathtaking views of the loch, the Caledonian Canal and the River Oich. Steeped in history, Inveroich was built as the Barrack master's House for the old fort and is reputed to be the oldest house in Fort Augustus.

At the end of a no-through road, the house is within easy walking distance of Fort Augustus and all local amenities. There are pubs and tea shops, a park, tennis courts and a huge choice of walks through forestry land, along the canal tow path or up in the hills. Loch and river fishing are readily available, together with boat and fishing trips on Loch Ness.
Accommodation Inveroich is decorated and furnished to an exceptionally high standard. The rooms are all light, airy and spacious and without exception, every room boasts envious views of the surrounding countryside. The house is surrounded by a large, very private and well kept walled garden. There is ample private parking within the grounds of the property. With a gas boiler, oil fired range and secondary / double glazing, Inveroich is a cosy, warm and welcoming place to stay. Accommodation in exceptionally well proportioned rooms with central heating or storage heaters as well as original feature fireplaces in every room. Scullery and kitchen, well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, larder, microwave, radio, oil fired Esse range and pulley for drying clothes etc. All cleaning materials are provided as well as a supply of coffee, tea, sugar, pepper, salt, seasonings, soaps, tissues and toilet rolls. Large entrance hallway with guest's bookcase. Dining room with table to sit eight. Drawing room with open fire, comfortable furniture, Sky TV and video recorder. Additional sitting room. Downstairs bathroom with bath, shower and toilet. Upstairs bathroom with bath and shower attachment. Separate toilet. Bedroom 1: Double with dressing room / extra single bedroom with sink. Views of river and loch. Bedroom 2: Twin bedded room. Views of garden and loch. Bedroom 3: Attic, double bed. Views of canal, garden and loch. Bedroom 4: Attic, twin bedded room.
