These Apartments have been carefully converted from a very attractive stone barn and are ideal for couples. Set high in Mallerstang Dale, a peaceful and unspoilt valley with glorious views from the site (see photo below).

They form an ideal centre for exploring the truly varied countryside of the Dales and the Lakes, Teesdale and the Borders. Or you can walk in the valley and enjoy some of the 100 or so bird species locally, wild flowers and waterfalls. You can go riding, play golf or fish the rivers.

Two stations on the famous Settle-Carlisle Railway (which passes through Mallerstang) are available within a short drive.

Visit nearby Kirkby Stephen for food supplies (late opening) or to explore the antique or craft shops. There are plenty of places to eat out and the owner who lives on site will be happy to provide information on this and other matters if required.

• Parking for one car per apartment, digital TV/DVD (all free to view channels), microwave, fridge, freezer, cooker. Payphone on site, shared garden, one well behaved dog (no puppies or other pets) in ground floor apartments (own field to run off lead).
