The Granary is a charming, spacious, three bedroom holiday home with large private garden and patio in the grounds of the owners farm occupying an idyllic rural location just outside the small village of High Hurstwood. Approached from a quiet country lane with spectacular views over its own land and the far reaching countryside beyond, we are well placed for a relaxing holiday but within easy access of numerous tourist attractions, Glyndebourne Opera House, Tunbridge Wells, historic Lewes and the Coastal towns of Eastbourne, Brighton as well as 1066 Country of Battle, Hastings and Rye.

Accommodation  
  • A large oak door leads to the tiled ground floor accommodation comprising entrance lobby, generous well equipped kitchen converted from an old stable, Dining area, single downstairs bedroom with adjoining Victorian style bathroom.
  • Upstairs approached by an attractive staircase is a spacious carpeted lounge, a large Twin bedroom and Double bedroom with en suite shower room. All the bedrooms are well furnished and have wrought iron beds and offer splendid views over the farm.
  • There is parking for two cars adjacent to The Granary.


Facilities  
  • The Granary has a large private fenced garden with patio area and BBQ facilities with stunning views.
  • The Granary is well located for many National Trust properties, Blue Bell Railway, fishing, cycling, riding on Ashdown Forest and also offers excellent walking on the neighbouring farm, and on the numerous footpaths in the immediate area.
  • Excellent pubs in close proximity including the well known village pub, The Hurstwood within a few mins drive.
Location  
  • Within a very short distance of the Deer Park at Buxted Park and Ashdown Forest with its Winnie the Pooh connections both for good walking and picnicking.
  • Very convenient for Glyndebourne Opera House, numerous National Trust/English Hertitage properties, East Sussex National Golf Course, Plumpton Race Course, Sheffield Park Gardens & Blue Bell Railway.
  • Easy access to BRIGHTON, EASTBOURNE, LEWES, TUNBRIDGE WELLS, BATTLE & HASTINGS and famous Glyndebourne Opera House.
