We still cook evening meals delivered to The Pigsty or served in the Cafe. You can either choose from the cafe menu or talk to Toby about a special meal. 6 courses from £25.50

We have all had a wonderful stay at the Hovel, the cottage and gardens are just beautiful, everything you could ask for is here! We have enjoyed a number of great days out including the Blue Planet in Chester and Black Rock Sands near Porthmadog. Toby and Stephanie and family have made us feel very at home here and Toby is a wonderful cook, do try the food! This is our second stay here and we will be back again.
I have really enjoyed playing at the Adventure Playground, on the Trampoline and with Philly. Eve age 6

We have so enjoyed our stay in North Wales and have loved the rustic nature of the Hovel. We have walked across the land and delighted in the peaceful setting. Toby and Stephanie have been warm hosts. The boys have enjoyed the white water rafting and go-carting, Katy loved the sheepdog center and the horse drawn canal barge at Llangollen.
We wish Toby and Stephanie every success in the future and may the next guests enjoy themselves as much as we did.

We had a fabulous stay! We enjoyed both the well needed rest of a weekend away from the kids and also the wonderful views, romantic setting and Welsh mountain air.
We highly recommend taking mountain bikes for a little exploration down to the lake,waterfall and ruins-so beautiful you hardly notice how steep the hills are and the great work out you are getting.
We plan to come next year with our children Ella 4 and Sonny 14 months as I'm sure they'll love it here with the fort and trampoline.

Once again we have had a fantastic time here. We love the "Hovel" and all the amazing views and garden that surround it.
We visited Chester Zoo and Pistyll Rhyader sp? Falls and highly recommend them.
Toby and Stephanie have been excellent hosts and we have enjoyed Toby's cooking.
This has been our second visit and I am sure we will return.

We have had a wonderful stay at the Hovel. The views are amazing and the gardens are beautiful. Such an ideal location to get away from it all and relax. The Lake is tranquil and great for walking, as well as using the equipment- we highly recommend the Kayak and rowing boat at sunset... but the water is cold if you start to sink yourselves!
As well as the great location and land we ventured to the Pistyll Rhyadr waterfall- a lovely walk and spectacular views. We also slogged our way up Snowdon-we recommend the Miners Track over the Pyg Track..! But it was a great achievement and a good (though tiring!)day out.
Overall we have had a fabulous time in Wales, and Toby and Stephanie have been brilliant hosts.
We hope to come again next year. Thank-you.

We've had a lovely stay here-very much worth the drive! Beautiful views and surrounding gardens-we'll be back next year to fully appreciate them!
We walked around Beddgelert and then up Snowdon which was amazing, we both survived scrambling over the rocks and an accepted Marriage proposal!
Thank-you for a very warm welcome and a lovely stay, we'll see you next year for an extended weekend!
