Still no signs of the barn owls---plenty of tawny owls in the woods at the back, though these don't nest in the owl box
March 2012 We have Owls!! Not Barns but Tawny, been in a week now but have'nt seen any eggs
March 17 Two eggs seen when she left to feed
Daffs and fritillaries are coming out
April 15 2 tawny chicks and 1 egg!
April 20 3 chicks doing well. Jackdaws are still trying to get in.

1 Feb 2011 One of the owls turned up overnight,so we should see them breeding again this year
5th April 2011 No sightings of the Barn Owls for some time.I'm beginning to think they have'nt survived the long hard winter
28 April 2011 OWLS have'nt returned this year,so I think they must have perished in the long hard winter
Sorry folks---- but I've allowed the JACKDAWS in so at least you'll have something to watch!!
