 Holly Tree Cottage is a delightful traditional Scottish cottage - refurbished in 2004 and providing VisitScotland 4 star accommodation. The cottage is right by the village green in the quiet Fife village of Upper Largo. The cottage sleeps up to four people in great comfort and there is a private well-cared for garden with patio - ideal for al fresco meals! - The cottage is centrally placed and ideal for exploring Fife (St Andrews and the fishing villages are within 10 miles).
- Further afield, Edinburgh, Stirling, Perth and Dundee are within an hour's drive away.
- There are several National Trust properties close by and many places of historic interest.
- There are plenty of holiday activities to enjoy. The beach is close by with water sports available in Elie (5 miles away).
- Golf courses are in abundance and there are many lovely walks including the Fife Coastal Path with its superb views.
- The coastal path is reached by a 10 minute walk through Woodland Trust property - the Serpentine.
 - Upper Largo has a post office/grocery and a hotel with a popular restaurant. There are more shops in Lundin Links (1 mile) and Leven (3 miles).
- Fife is a golfer's paradise with 45 golf courses. The nearest is Lundin Links (1 mile away) - there is an 18 hole course - a qualifying course for the Open - and a 9 hole course - the oldest Ladies club in the world.
Accommodation  The cottage has two bedrooms - one double and one with adult sized bunk beds. The luxury shower room is fitted to a very high standard. The living/ dining room is cosy and comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. All accommodation is on one level. A shed suitable for storing bikes is in the garden. Included in the rental are gas, electricity, linen, duvets, pillows and towels. There is a washing machine, microwave, TV, video and DVD player, hi-fi, shaving point, hair-dryer, rotary drier (outside), iron and extensive tourist information.
