The village of Fiskavaig is a friendly community and an area of crofting and fishing. Loch Harport provides a safe anchorage for many sailing ships and little boats and locally the sandy beaches of Glen Brittle are perfect for a family holiday.

Location

Fiskavaig is located some 3 miles from the village of Carbost which offers a range of facilities including a village shop, post office, and the world famous Talisker Distillery which is well worth a visit.
Locally, you will find the Taigh Eilean Hotel, which offers a range of reasonably priced dishes. Also, the Old Inn at Carbost is a great friendly pub where you can enjoy great food including fresh locally sourced seafood.
The cottage is close to the pretty bays of Fiskavaig, Talisker and Glenbrittle which provide numerous routes into the Black Cuillin Mountains. However, there are plenty of coastal walks for a less strenuous walk.

Comfortable living room and conservatory overlooking Loch Bracadale.
Dining room with views of Preshal Mor and occasionally some Highland Cattle.
