The peaceful rural location of Ardgarry Farm makes it an ideal base for a family holiday or a couple looking to get away from it all. We are a small working farm with a fine selection of friendly animals which wander freely about the farm. There are chickens, ducks, geese, peacocks and more. There's also Tess and Cally our Shetland ponies and a number of sheep. Invergarry is a village steeped in history and lies at the East end of Glengarry. Local services include a hotel, post office, petrol station/shop, café & visitor centre. An abundance of wild life exists in and around the Invergarry. Glengarry forest is just 10 minutes walk from Ardgarry Farm. The forest has a good selection of well defined walks taking in waterfalls and the River Garry, which is regularly used for white water rafting and kayaking. The Great Glen Way/Cycle track passes through the village and we are are ideally located for hill or long distance walking and cycling. Most outdoor pursuits can be accessed locally and a Water Sports centre is just 5 kms away. To the west of Invergarry lies Fort William (40km) and Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the United Kingdom. To the east is Fort Augustus (11km) and Loch Ness, or you could visit the Isle of Skye taking in the breathtaking scenery along the way. This too can easily be accessed from Invergarry.
