These two delightful cosy cottages are situated in the main street of Hessett, a much sought after village in Suffolk just five miles east of Bury St.Edmunds, one of the most historical towns of England, and which today still retains its charming market town image.
Within ten miles you have the famous villages of Lavenham, Kersey and Long Melford - the village featured in the 'Lovejoy' television series. If you want the coast you have Southwold, Felixstowe and Aldburgh within an hour's drive.
Wilwyn Cottage (photo above) An early 17th Century cottage with a small front garden facing on to the street. The back garden is fully enclosed and grassed. The property is carpeted throughout and there is full gas central heating. Payphone also provided. The kitchen has full size electric cooker, fridge, washing machine, tumble drier, toaster, microwave etc. A barbecue is also provided. The sitting room has cottage suite, colour TV and easy chair. The bathroom is downstairs. Two bedrooms - 1 double, 1 with bunks (single bed size). Cot and high chair available (cot linen supplied). Off road parking for 2 vehicles.
Chapel Cottage A recently converted single storey cottage on the site of an old chapel. There is full gas central heating, and the property also has wide doors suitable for wheelchairs. The kitchen is fully fitted with a built in oven, fridge, washing machine and microwave. Large lounge/diner with dining table and chairs, cottage suite, colour TV etc. The bathroom has bath and shower. There are two bedrooms - the master bedroom with double bed, and the second bedroom with 3 single beds (one fold away). Cot and high chair available. Barbecue is provided. Off road parking for 2 vehicles.
