Where the clean, comfy and very cosy cottages stand in a peaceful spot at the end of their own lane, in the middle of our family farm - which lies between The Tweed and Eden Water near Kelso.
The views from here are wonderful, stretching in all directions; you can see as far as the Eildon, Lammermuir and Cheviot Hills! Like so many who return to stay we love the walks too! Across the farm you might see deer wandering between the woods; by the waterside glimpse otter and salmon or just stand in silence as a Barn Owl sweeps by!
The Border Country is steeped in history, having a wealth of castles, abbeys and great houses to visit. It is a great area for walking, cycling, golfing, fishing, riding, visiting brilliantly talented craftsmen or maybe just relaxing - enjoying the space and ever changing light - don't forget to bring your camera! The countryside, hills and coast are stunning and unspoilt, all within half an hour's drive along quiet country roads. Kelso is just 2 miles away - Edinburgh an hour.
 The Cottages are all basically the same with the back porch leading into the kitchen and pantry. The bath room, sitting room and garden door all lead off the hall. Upstairs are a spacious twin and double bed room. The differences are in - - West Cottage we welcome pets.
- Southsyde has a king sized bed in the double room and the choice of either twin beds or a super king sized bed.
- East Cottage has a power shower over the bath. The bed rooms have original floor boards with sheepskin rugs... other cottages have fitted carpets.
SERVICES: Oil central heating throughout. Open fire. Fridge, freezer, microwave, washing machine, shared tumble drier. Colour TV, DVD, radios and CD/Cassette player. Private enclosed south facing gardens with furniture and barbecues. Delicious meals can be delivered to the cottages. Farm walks. Member of the Association of Scotland's Self-Caterers (ASSC). The farm is a member of LEAF (Linking environment and farm). "Welcome Host" award. "Walkers & Cyclists Welcome" Award. Washing facilities for bikes and secure sheds. No smoking. Table Tennis table.
