It offers wonderful opportunities for the more serious bird watcher as well. Livestock on the farm comprises suckler cows and calves, and a small herd of pedigree Charolais cows and calves, with calving taking place in the spring and autumn. There is a flock of mule ewes lambing in the spring. Visitors are welcome to view the many farming activities, from feeding to sheep shearing, silage and hay making, harvesting and viewing all the new born lambs and calves. There is something to see at all times of the year. We welcome our guests to participate in farm life, and we are happy to arrange a farm tour through the fields of stock in our pickup. Feeding pet lambs and calves is always a firm favourite, especially with the children.
