Hawthorn is a 100 year old detached house on the banks of the River Lochy. As the house faces Ben Nevis there are fantastic views of the Ben, Aonach Mhor, Glen Nevis and the surrounding hills. A short walk away is the Tail Race (a renowned spot for fishermen) with lovely walks by the Lochy and Old Inverlochy Castle. The Great Glen Walk route passes by the house on its way to the Caledonian Canal and Neptune's Staircase.
