For peace and tranquility it would be hard to beat our three properties on the Harehope Estate. The Cresswell Wing of Harehope Hall, a beautiful Victorian mansion and our cosy riverside cottages are perfect rural retreats.
Set in the heart of North Northumberland the estate offers rolling moorland and river valleys with miles of quiet country lanes, off-road tracks and bridlepaths offering hours of enjoyment for walkers, cyclists, riders and carriage drivers alike - so don't forget to bring your bike and your dogs and horses too!
Harehope Hall is completely secluded, within extensive grounds, sheltered by mature woodland and looking out across the river valley to the foothills of the Cheviots.
The two cottages lie tucked away along a leafy lane, a little way from the Hall, next to a stonebuilt bridge across the River Till - a tributary of the famous River Tweed.
Wildlife abounds - you're quite likely to spot deer and red squirrels. We only hope the owls won't keep you awake too long and the dawn chorus won't wake you too early! But we're sure you'll enjoy this idyllic setting and the surrounding countryside as much as we do.
