Harbourside, a ground floor flat is suitable for couples or families. Situated in the centre of the picturesque town of Stromness, birthplace of the poet, George Mackay Brown and with links to explorer John Rae and the Hudson Bay Co. Only 4 miles away is the heart of Neolithic Orkney and the world famous heritage sites.

Practically on the doorstep, tourist information, marina, bus stop, taxi rank, cycle hire, the ferry from the Mainland and the passenger ferry to North Hoy (a must for hill-walkers and climbers visiting Rackwick and the famous Old Man).
Shops, pubs, restaurants, museum, library, sports facilities, supermarket, excellent family butcher and baker, all within 10 mins walk.
Wind your way through narrow streets and take a coastal walk to see seals, birdlife and fauna.
Head up Brinkies Brae, view breathtaking scenery over Stromness, Scapa Flow and the islands.
Capture the tranquillity as dive boats and local fishermen return to harbour.

Accommodation

The flat consists of living/dining room, with couch, table and chairs, TV and DVD player.
The kitchen has full size oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher.
The bathroom has a bath and overhead electric shower and heated towel rail.
Bedroom 1 has full size bunk beds and leads into Bedroom 2 with double bed.
Plenty of storage space is available. Hairdryer provided.
There is storage heating throughout and washing machine and tumble dryer.
Price inclusive of linen, towels and electricity.

Booking details

Weekly stays with change over day, Saturday, although part weeks may be possible for late bookings. Discount is available for fortnightly stays.
Arrival by prior arrangement.
The flat must be vacated by 10am on day of departure.
A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required at time of booking with balance 4 weeks prior to arrival.
