 Harbourside and Farne View are both 3 bedroomed cottages overlooking Seahouses Harbour on the North Northumberland Heritage Coast. We provide a wonderful base from which to explore the local area and are well placed to access the coast, countryside, heritage and wildlife locations of Northumbria. - We are only 20 minutes north of the beautiful new Alnwick Garden and the town's ancient castle, three miles from Bamburgh Castle, fifteen miles from Lindisfarne Holy Island.
- 11 Castles and 10 golf courses lie within an easy drive and boats leave from the harbour to explore the Farne Islands Bird Sanctuary and Grey Seal colony.
Harbourside: The cottage is very well furnished and equipped offering warm cosy accommodation with modern conveniences. The bedrooms are on the ground floor: 1 double and 2 bunk rooms sleeping a total of 6 people. Also downstairs is the bathroom (bath with shower over, loo and basin), and a storage cupboard housing the washer/dryer. Upstairs the kitchen is fully equipped with electric cooker and hob, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle etc. The adjacent first floor lounge has magnificent views from its full height opening patio doors which lead out onto a balcony, large comfortable sofas and a dining area, TV, DVD and a large feature stone fire place housing an electric log effect burner, making it a homely atmosphere in which to relax after a day's activities. Travel cot, high chair, and stairgate available. Books, DVDs, indoor and outdoor games available. Payphone. All heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. Farne View Newly refurbished to four star standard offering luxury and comfort together with stunning views over Seahouses Harbour. Bedrooms are on the ground floor: 1 Double, 1 Twin and 1 Bunk sleeping a total of 6 people. Also on ground floor is the bathroom (bath with shower over) loo and basin. Upstairs is a fully fitted kitchen with electric cooker and hob, dishwasher, fridge and washer/drier. Comfortable open plan lounge with TV, DVD and CD/radio and separate dining area. French doors leading on to a small balcony at front with breathtaking views to the Farne Islands. To the rear of the lounge, french doors lead onto a sunny balcony with sitting area.
