Spectacularly situated, this traditional detached cottage was built in 1893 to take full advantage of the panoramic views of the Cromarty Firth and watch the ships come in and out of the harbour and anchor offshore. The location is unbeatable with the shore only 50 meters away (no fencing - young children must be supervised due to deep tidal waters). - The cottage is stone built and retains many original and period features including wood panelling, ornate cornices and Victorian fireplaces.

Dingwall is a bustling little town with excellent facilities and a railway station for trips on the scenic lines north and west while Inverness with its excellent facilities is a 1/2 hour drive. There many outdoor activities available including lovely walks, golf, angling, cruises to see the dolphins or a or for exploring the Black Isle with its quaint fishing villages and sandy beaches, Loch Ness and the Great Glen or the North and West coasts.
