Half Pint Cottage is a most charming fisherman's cottage in the heart of Lyme Regis with its own parking place (a rare occurrence!). It has been completely refurbished and enjoys a privileged position in this renowned small town.
When you step out of Half Pint Cottage into Mill Green, you are not only in historic Lyme but just a 10mn stroll away from the romantic setting of 'The French Lieutenant's Woman' as well as right on the edge of enchanting Dorset country paths... So, will you go on the right... along some narrow streets or wriggly lanes towards the beautiful beach, the famous Cobb, or will you try fossil hunting? or... maybe explore the individual small shops? ...Unless you choose to go left, for a serene river side walk watched by the ducks, to discover some quaint bridges and glorious scenery...
Accommodation:
Ground Floor: Beamed ceilings in sitting room /dining room. Hall way from Mill Green, leading to: One cosy sitting room with colour TV/Video ( some videos supplied), CD/Radio player, a selection of board games and books to read. A spacious and homely dining room. A brand new 'cottage style' kitchen, well equipped (fridge/freezer, washing machine, big microwave com oven, separate electric oven, kettle & toaster). A small & sunny garden room opening to the garden. A South facing patio garden - paved (4 chairs /1 round table provided). The garden opens up at the end (river side) on a private parking space for 1 large vehicle. First Floor: - 1 family bathroom (with electric shower over bath).
- Bedroom 1: With 2 bunk beds and pine decor. One window opening to garden.
- Bedroom 2: Romantic decor. 1 King size brass bed. (window opening on Mill Green).
 Facilities: - Bring your own linen and towels (linen hire can be arranged).
Around and About: - Food: No need to cook! good pubs/restaurants/cafes everywhere, and the 'Coop' (top of main street) stays opened until 10pm.
- Fossiling: Jurassic Coastline, world famous fossil collecting area... go on a guided tour to find one... or buy one at the fossil museum!
- History & architecture: Old buildings/award winning museum/'Art deco' cinema/ 'The Mill', all on your doorstep.
 - Arts & craft: Many thriving artists live here/ numerous colourful galleries to visit... why not have a 'go' at painting??
- 'The Cobb'... inspired John Fowles (The French Lieutenant Woman) and Jane Austen (Pride and Prejudice).
- Theatre: always check what's on.... you might recognise your friendly butcher or baker among the actors.
