Set in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside in the village of Crich, Halcyon Cottage is an ideal location for walking, climbing, cycling, exploring and sightseeing, or simply to get away from it all. - With easy access to the Derbyshire Dales and the Peak District it is the perfect base for a holiday. The village is home to the famous Crich Tramway Village and was used as the location for 'Peak Practice'.
- The area is full of outstanding natural beauty and historical interest yet within easy reach of cities for culture and entertainment or a thrilling day out at Alton Towers.
 Accommodation The cottage is around 200 years old and is adjacent to the owners' own cottage. Guests share use of the private garden and patio with its own brook running through it. Off road parking is on the private driveway. - The cosy cottage, a 2 up 2 down designed for 1 or 2 persons has been modernised to a high standard and is centrally heated throughout. It is in a very quiet location but only 50 yards from the village market place with many local amenities including 4 pubs serving food.
- The living room has a sofa, a table and chairs, a TV/DVD, a Radio/CD player and a feature fireplace. A selection of games, books, DVDs and tourist literature is provided.
 - The kitchen has a gas cooker and fridge with freezer compartment.
- There is a queen size double bed with storage drawers, wardrobe and chest of drawers.
- The bathroom has a self contained shower, sink and loo.
- We provide all linen, utensils, crockery and some essential supplies (you won't need your salt and pepper!).
- There is lockable storage for leisure items (bikes etc.).
- A no smoking policy exists in the cottage for the comfort of all guests.
- Unfortunately pets cannot be accommodated.
