An original Highland croft house, Greystones Cottage has been modernised without losing any of its original character. Stunning views across Uig bay from all the rooms and popular Skye walks such as the Fairy Glen and the Quiraing nearby make it an ideal holiday location.

Accommodation

Greystones Cottage has an entrance porch, a large dining/reception area, lounge and two double bedrooms.
In the kitchen there is a breakfast bar for two.
The whole interior is recently redecorated and there is a new bathroom with bath and shower.
The front and garden of Greystones Cottage are facing west and this means that stunning sunsets can be observed regularly.
Wildlife such as seals, falcons and even eagles, which nest nearby, can be spotted, too.

The village shop, bakery, pub and hotel bar/restaurant are all in easy walking distance (5 mins). Uig in Trotternish is also the gateway to the Outer Isles, and the port is only a mile down the road. From there, daytrips to the Isles of Harris and Lewis or North Uist can be taken. A trip to Skye's main town, Portree, will only take 20 minutes by car, and other outdoor activities such as horse riding can also to be found nearby.

Uig is home to the famous Uig pottery and Uig brewery, both of which have a variety of locally made products on offer.
