is a renowned sailing village on the Island and has all the facilities for a fantastic stress-free family holiday. Green Gates is situated in a sought-after peaceful, leafy location just a few minutes walk from the beach and Bembridge Lifeboat Station.

• Newly redecorated in all the major rooms to make it bright and spacious.
• There is a fantastic Kitchen/dining room with a table large enough to seat 10 guests.
• The lounge overlooks the secluded leafy garden with patio and brazier/BBQ for outdoor eating.
• The kitchen has a gas-fired Rayburn which keeps the kitchen warm at all times and provides drying for your beach things. There is also a gas double oven and microwave.
• There are three double bedrooms, with two double and three single beds - quilts and pillows provided. No linen provided. There is also a travel cot - please bring own bedding.
• The conservatory has three single chair beds - but you will need to provide sleeping bags for these. It has a pool table and provides a retreat for the youngsters.
• There is a separate WC and bathroom with Jacuzzi bath.
• Separate shower room and utility room.

Location  

• The village centre is a short walk away for all your culinary needs and has several restaurants, pubs and excellent shops.
• There are two sailing clubs in the village ­Brading Haven Yacht Club and Bembridge Sailing Club.
• Swains Road is a quiet road leading down to the unspoilt sandy beach and the famous "Bembridge Ledge".
• The lifeboat station and cafe are a few minutes further along the beach. Follow the coast around and you can walk for hours along beaches, cliffs, downs and valleys back to the village again, stopping off if you wish at the Crab and Lobster or Pilot Boat Inns.
• Bembridge Airport is just a few minutes drive away with its facilities for microlites.

All in all, a superb location for a restful car-free holiday if you so wish.
