Probably the best coastal location in East Lothian. Green Craig sits feet away from the beach with unsurpassed views across the sea to Edinburgh, Fife and beyond. Beautifully decorated and furnished to the highest of standards. Fully refurbished in 2006, this is truly a stunning house for those who wish to have a holiday in a costal location yet be within 35 minutes of Edinburgh city centre.

• A beautifully appointed sitting room with views over Gosford Bay towards Edinburgh. Open fire and plenty of seating, TV with satellite, DVD/CD player and ipod dock.
• Door leads to a terrace.
• Very large dining room - with a dining table and chairs for 12 guests, this room can be set up to accommodate up to 30 guests. Stunning marble fireplace and door to a terrace and to the gardens beyond.
• Gallery - a relaxing space to sit and unwind. Wi fi available.
• Large modern kitchen, with table and chairs for 12 guests. The kitchen includes 2 dishwashers, 6 gas ring hob, double oven, integrated combi microwave, Japanese teppan yaki hot plate and large larder fridge.
• Utility room has an American washing machine and two American tumble dryers. Iron and iron board. Deep freeze and additional fridge.
• Locker room - for all out door clothes, wellie boots and golf clubs etc. Leading to a WC.

First floor  

• There are six stunning spacious bedrooms, all with views over the sea. Beds can either be twins or king-size doubles.
• All have luxurious en suite bathrooms with showers either over the baths or separate to the bath, heated towel rails and heated tiled floors. There are no shaver points, adaptors are available.

Grounds  

• Green Craig sits in a private estate of 50 acres of woodland with a 1/2 mile drive.
• Around the house are lawns and borders plus two terraces one out from the sitting room the other from the dining room.
• Chipping lawn.
• Access directly onto the beach and Aberlady Nature Reserve.

Additional items  

• All bed linen, towels and bathrobes and included. Additional linen/towels can be supplied at a fee.
• There are also hair dryers in all the bedrooms and there is a high chair and travel cot (advance notice reqd).
• First aid kit.
• Baby sitting can also be arranged, advanced notice reqd.
• A huge amount of activities can be booked prior to your arrival. There are 19 golf courses within a 20 minute drive of the house, plus horse riding, hot air ballooning, falconry and go karting to name but a few.
• Catering - breakfast, picnics, packed lunches and dinners and daily maid service can also be arranged.

Locally  

• As mentioned there are some of the best links golf courses in Scotland right on our door step. Including Muirfield, North Berwick and our neighbour, Craigielaw Golf Club. Tee times can be booked at all the local courses prior to your arrival.
• There is fishing, hill walking, shooting and water sports.
• For those who would like to relax, a visit to the Scottish Sea Bird Centre, or the Museum of Flight or there is even a local distillery at Glenkinchie to pass the time away.
• Two miles away there is a train station which in 20 minutes will have you in the centre of historic Edinburgh.
