 High in the beautiful Cotswold Hills, this self-contained west wing of a country house originates from 1840. On a minor country road and half a mile north of the village with its famous Norman church, it is surrounded by mixed farmland, and is midway between regency Cheltenham and historic Cirencester.
Comfortably furnished with pine and antiques, this is an ideal, central base for exploring the Cotswolds, walking, riding or driving. Our guests appreciate the map library, guidebooks, local walks file, and plentiful information about the many Cotswold and Gloucestershire attractions.
Bath, Oxford, Blenheim and Stratford-upon-Avon are all within a drive of 60 - 75 minutes.
Accommodation  The Grannery's garden path leads to the large enclosed porch and front door. Off the hall are the 25' double-aspect living room with colour TV, DVD player, log-burning stove and dining area; and the shower room with power-shower. The well equipped kitchen has fitted units, farmhouse kitchen table, electric cooker, microwave, and fridge with freezer compartment. Stairs lead from the hall directly into the charming first floor double bedroom. The Grannery has central heating, double glazing and supplementary electric heaters. Outside Outside is a small private patio garden, oriented to south and west, with patio furniture. There is a roadside parking bay. The nearest footpath is within 400 metres, the nearest bridleway 800 metres. Included in the price: Electricity, heating, hot water, logs, towels, bedlinen; and our welcome package, which includes your first evening's meal!
