Sleep under a traditional Irish thatched roof, and experience its warm and relaxed atmosphere.

This traditional Irish thatched cottage and outhouses were built over a 300 year period. Set in the hills of Donegal and surrounded by trees. The cottage has been restored retaining its original features, but unlike the original it has modern heating, washing and cooking facilities blended into its original design. It is furnished with period and antique furniture.

It is an ideal location for hill walking, touring, pony trekking, fishing or just getting away from it all, a quiet spot to relax. This area has some of the most beautiful and unspoiled beaches in Ireland and of course many pubs with Irish music.

The cottage has a kitchen/dining room combined with a half loft.
A sitting room with a double bedsettee and open fire.
There are three bedrooms, the attic has a king size bed, the second has a double bed and the third has two single beds built in traditional design.
A shower room and wc.

Facilities:
The cottage has under floor oil fired central heating which remains on all year round, CD player and Books. TV is not a feature.
