Old stone cottage on southerly facing hill; sleeps 6 comfortably (8 if bunk beds used).
Originally built as the carriage house for one of the Lucas' family's residences in the 19th century, this old and pretty cottage built in stone and oak stands on the edge of Reynoldston village in West Gower on the southern slope of Cefn Bryn. It has a large stone walled garden and good off-road parking for 3 or 4 cars.
It is superbly located for hill walks and bird watching in the immediate area (including walks to the famous Neolithic monument 'Arthur's Stone', a mile away across moorland). The King Arthur pub is a short 5 minutes' walk. Some of the best beaches in the British Isles are within 5 miles.
Accommodation
Two storey traditionally built newly refurbished cottage with wooden beams and whitewashed walls and oak and stone floors. Spacious living room heated by wood burning stove, with two large sofas, dining table and chairs, and tuned piano.
Contemporary timber fitted kitchen with electric hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and Rayburn and table and chairs.
Well heated bathroom with large comfortable bath, WC and basin and washing machine.
Upstairs: Two bedrooms (one double, one twin), and a 3rd bedroom (within a bedroom) with double and two bunk beds. Separate shower room with basin and WC. The second bedroom may also be accessed up exterior stone steps.
