Church Court Cottages - four red sandstone cottages round a courtyard in Gamblesby, a picturesque, tranquil village in Cumbria's Eden Valley.

Herdwick Cottage sleeps 2 in a double bedroom upstairs with an en suite bathroom with a bath and shower over the bath. Downstairs is a cosy kitchen/dining/living room.1 dog allowed.

Hawthorn Cottage sleeps 2 in a double bedroom and a further 2 on a double sofa bed in the lounge. The bathroom has a bath and shower over the bath. The kitchen/diner has a tiled floor and is suitable for up to 2 dogs. There are no stairs in Hawthorn.

Helm Cottage sleeps 2 upstairs in a bedroom/lounge with a king sized bed and an en suite shower room/w.c. Down the spiral staircase is a large kitchen/diner with a fully tiled floor. The spiral staircase is open and potentially dangerous for the elderly, toddlers and small, excitable dogs.

The Barn sleeps 4 downstairs in 2 bedrooms; one double and one twin. Wet room with shower and w.c. Upstairs there is a very large open plan living room/kitchen/diner with fine views of the North Pennines.

• All the cottages have digital colour TV with Freeview, DVD, radio/CD/cassette player, fridge, electric or gas cooker and microwave.
• Helm Cottage, Hawthorn Cottage and The Barn have dishwashers.
• The Barn has a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer.
• Herdwick Cottage and Hawthorn Cottage have electric "wood burning stove effect" fires and night storage heaters.
• The Barn has a real wood burning stove and night storage heaters.
• Helm Cottage has oil fired central heating which is under floor in the kitchen/diner.
• Bed linen, towels, heating and electricity/gas are included in the rent.
• There is no extra charge for dogs.
• We offer short breaks all year round.
