A traditional Victorian holiday cottage in the heart of the idyllic highland village of Newtonmore, made famous in BBC's television series Monarch of the Glen. - Set in the Cairngorm National Park, the Newtonmore area is a walker's heaven with other outdoor pursuits including fishing on the river Spey, two excellent golf courses, one in Newtonmore, and the other adjoining burgh of Kingussie.
- Other activities in and around the area include skiing, mountain biking, water sports, horse riding, RSPB sites for bird watching, the interactive Highland Folk park and Whisky Distilleries, or why not take a trip on a romantic steam train or ride the funicular railway to the top of the Cairngorm mountains and remember not to miss your first shinty match.
Glenthorne is a quaint village cottage, it has been tastefully and comfortably styled and is very well equipped. - The house has been enlarged keeping its cottage charms while providing the space and facilities required for modern living - you could relax in the traditional roll top bath or cosy up in front of the stove in the living room.
- In brief you have a sitting room, kitchen and bathroom downstairs and 3 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs.
- It has its own garden and private parking and lock ups for bikes etc.
